HOMECOMING PARADE ENTRIES
For all campuses:
Immunizations will be provided for all staff as they were last year. We will start at Elementary School, move to the Middle School and then go to the High School. We are providing Flu Vaccine. Thanks in advance for your assistance in getting this out.
The Houston Dynamos hosted "FBLA Day with the Dynamos," a leadership conference held for Career and Technology Education organizations in the area. Approximately 350 students were in attendance and were able to ask questions of a Dynamos Executive Panel regarding jobs, education, etc. They also received a tour of the entire stadium and the locker room. The Dynamo panel included their Team President, Chief Marketing Officer, Director of Partnership Marketing, Director of marketing and Public Relations, General Manager of Houston Sports Park, and the goalkeeper of the Dash. Newton High School FBLA participated with 18 students and were able to stay for the soccer game that night. In attendance were Chelsea Cahill, Destiny Carrell, Daisy Flowers, Corbin Foster, Kirkland Foster, Brendan Gathright, Josie Grey, Reagan Gulley, Colton Haymon, Kirstyn Henderson, Jasmaine Issac, Brennan Karr, Brock Kennebrew, Kiana Porter, Kayla Quarles, Abraysha Robbins, Tatum Sammons and Faith Worlds. Also in attendance were Carolyn Perdue, NHS FBLA Adviser and Sherry Tracy, Counselor.
Bullying is not tolerated by Newton ISD. Any parent or student who believes that a student has experienced bullying or has engaged in bullying is encouraged to report the incident immediately to the appropriate campus.
